'New Beginnings' Birthing Suites

What could be better than having your 'New Beginning' right here, close to home? Our spacious, home-like birthing suites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and at the same time will offer our families every comfort of home.

These birthing suites are also called "LDRP Suites", short for Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum - the four phases of childbirth. You will deliver your baby in this suite and then remain there with your baby until you go home.

The large,'New Beginning' birthing suites offer a private bathroom, whirlpool tub, shower, a rocking chair, dining area, television, pullout couch, and all of the extra comforts of home.

PEACE OF MIND
Our competent, highly trained physicians and staff will move around mom and baby. Medical supplies are located out of sight, but within reach. The equipment and staff move, not the mother and baby. The nursing staff at Memorial Hospital is trained in Neonatal Resuscitation, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Childbirth Education Classes
Your childbirth experience begins months before the baby is due and long after you have left the hospital. MHLC offers Childbirth Education Classes, for more information call 608-776-4466 ext. 227.

Obstetrics/Gynecology
This is the specialty that deals with the female reproductive system. Gynecologists diagnose and treat such common problems as infertility, vaginal bleeding, pelvic pains, and breast problems.

Procedures done here include hysterectomies, cystocele repairs, rectocele repairs, and laproscopic procedures.
