Emergency Care
Memorial Hosptial of Lafayette County operates a 24 hour Emergency Service. Working in cooperation with the local community rescue squads we have physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals on call around the clock seven days a week. Medical Flight helicopter transport can be summoned generally within 30 minutes for serious trauma or illness if care at a major urban medical center is required after stabilization at this facility.

Urgent Care
MHLC now offers Urgent Care. Urgent Care should be used for non-life threatening situations, such as ear infections, minor cuts, sprains, and sore throats.
Urgent Care Hours:
Friday 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County opened an expanded emergency department in the fall of 2004. Our new ER features privacy and comfort. The newly expanded ER consists of two major trauma rooms conveniently located by the radiology department. You can count on our advanced technology and competent, skilled staff to be ready for emergency situations as they arise.

MedFlight has been available at MHLC for 20+ years, they arrive in about 20 minutes from Madison.
