About Memorial Hospital Lafayette County

Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County was built in 1952 and continues to grow to meet the health care needs of Lafayette County citizens and the surrounding area. As a 25 bed critical access hospital, MHLC provides a full range of acute care inpatient and outpatient services. Inpatient services include medical care, major and minor surgery, obstetrics, newborn nursery, orthopedics, and cardiac care. Outpatient services include Multi slice CT scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI & MRA, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Bone Densitometry, general radiography, extensive lab services, pharmacy, cardiac & pulmonary rehab, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, pulmonary function testing, dietary counseling, day care surgeries, and renal dialysis. The Outpatient Clinic has specialists available to see patients in cardiology, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, general surgery, neurology, podiatry, and audiology. MHLC has an active ER service which is staffed 7 days a week 24 hours a day by ACLS certified physicians and RN's. The ER also offers urgent care hours on weekends and holidays. MHLC is a full service acute care facility.
